Mollaei is the cofounder and CTO of Adaptis, a carbon optimization platform that has raised more than $7 million in equity and non-dilutive funds. So far, it has assessed over 400 buildings, helping clients save millions and prevent 145,000 tons of CO2 emissions. The University of Waterloo PhD leads the product development team and directly manages a group of 12 engineers, designers and data scientists.
