A computational methodology for generating modular design options for building extensions
This research addresses the urgency of adapting aging buildings, emphasizing efficiency through the integration of computational methods and Modular Construction (MC). The methodology generates optimal modular design options for extensions, with a focus on key architectural metrics. Illustrated by a case study on the Ken Soble Tower, the research contributes to enhancing residential infrastructure with energy-efficient modular extensions.
