This research delves into the adoption of circular economy principles within the construction sector, aiming to enhance sustainability and economic efficiency. Utilizing a multiple case study approach involving 81 global companies, the study classifies these entities into seven business types and evaluates their initiatives based on circular business models. By identifying gaps and offering recommendations, the research contributes to bridging the divide between circular economy theory and practical implementation in construction.
