Decarbonization Compliance Expert

We are looking for a Decarbonization Compliance Expert to work closely with CTO, Decarbonization Lead and the Product Development team to streamline and automate compliance assessment. The candidate’s role circles around the continuous scanning and assessing of regulatory building energy/GHG code requirements and incentive programs across Canada. 

This role is dedicated to the built environment sector, sustainability policy, building performance, wellness, GHGs and circularity. The role will require the continuous update of the requirements database starting with Canada and expanding across other regions per company’s objectives and strategies.

Building Performance Specialist

We are looking for an ambitious Building Performance & Parametric Modelling Specialist to join our growing customer success team. The candidate’s responsibilities include conducting energy modeling using a number of building simulation tools, (i.e. IES-VE, EnergyPlus, Ladybug/Honeybee, Radiance, Openfoam, LBNL Software), managing workflows and data and creating tools to improve existing processes (i.e. Excel, etc.), conducting research on emerging techniques and technologies to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and developing and maintaining documentation, code, and project-related materials.

Building Performance Expert

We are looking for a Building Performance Expert to work closely with Decarbonization Lead, to lead and supervise  the preparation of building performance simulations; including energy modelling, thermal comfort analysis, daylight simulation, CFD, and lifecycle analysis. The Building Performance Expert will lead projects from bidding/pricing all the way to execution, delivery and customer success follow-up, and participate in the integrated design process and assist our clients and design teams to set ambitious goals for energy performance and low-carbon design.  

The candidate will develop the energy modeling skill set within our team of junior and intermediate modelers, peer review completed and in-progress analysis and manage quality and client satisfaction. Responsibilities will also include advising clients, design teams, and team members of high-performance building strategies that will contribute to their successful pursuit of goals such as certification under LEED, Living Building Challenge, Passive House, Zero Carbon or compliance under OBC and Toronto Green Standard.

Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Product Development team. Working closely with CTO, Head of Engineering, and technical staff, the candidate will develop and implement regression models suitable for assessing and predicting building performance and carbon emissions, work closely with our research and development team for end-to-end development of surrogate models/metamodels used for multi-objective optimization of various performance metrics such as building energy, carbon emissions, and cost, and identify key features and improve the accuracy and the robustness of models. Our ideal candidate will have experience and interest in leading our growing ML R&D team.
